Learn About Lead

Join York College’s Urban Collaborative for Learn About Lead, a free educational event designed to help York families better understand the dangers of lead exposure, the importance of early lead testing, and practical steps parents can take to help keep children safe. Participants will hear from Bob Drawbaugh of the York County Planning Commission and learn about lead hazards in the home, prevention strategies, and available resources through the PA Lead Free Promise Project.

To make participation easier for families they are offering two sessions, lunch is included, and children ages 2-12 will enjoy planned activities.
